Reverge Studios Internship: Week 5
More animation and scripting work. The start of the week was dedicated to learning how to change the facial expressions to better match the line delivery, and that was easy enough. I also learned the use of creating enhanced inputs to create controls in game and debugging, and used that to set up a callout system as well as a standard dialogue system. I began learning how to use variable and data tables to set up a more comprehensive dialogue manager, a lot of backend work that doesn't show itself obviously in game. I ended the week with beginning to transfer all the lip sync animations to their proper model, and generally how to re-target animations between meshes in Unreal Engine 5.
